This year’s special because it marks the 80th birthday of an icon. No, we’re not talking about Dolly Parton, Joanna Lumley or even Sylvester Stallone; all of whom reach that milestone in 2026. No, we’re talking about an icon of the automotive industry. A machine that’s become much more than a mode of transport, we are of course talking about the one and only Vespa.
Created in an effort to mobilise the masses after World War Two, it quickly became an international phenomenon. There have been many imitators, but there’s only one Vespa. The machines on our showroom flor may look very different to those that rolled off the early production lines but they continue to ignite passion in owners and enthusiasts around the globe.

Of course, the ultimate souvenirs of this special occasion are the 80th anniversary editions of the Primavera and GTS, but there’s also a host of other ways to join in the celebration: Whatever your budget may be.
Suits you to a tee
One of the most popular ways to celebrate any brand is with a t shirt. Our favourite is the technical drawing tee, but if you prefer something more subtle, the 80th range comes in a selection of colours, all featuring the 80th anniversary logo. The Vespa 80th New Era 9FORTY® cap is crafted from 100% cotton, it features a distressed Vespa V logo embroidered on the front, complemented by a white New Era logo and an ’80’ embroidery on the side. The Vespa logo on the back adds a final iconic touch, while the snap-back closure ensures an easy one-size fit.
Stickers and patches galore
We all love a sticker (or two) and for the 80th anniversary set there’s a choice of two sets, each of which features the anniversary logo.
